Contribute to the production and realization phases of our high-tech customer projects with your leadership skills.

As Team Leader Production, you will be responsible for guiding and supervising your team and the projects executed by our General Industry Business Unit during the production phase and commissioning at our clients’ sites. Together with your multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that projects are delivered as efficiently as possible, within budget, and according to schedule.

Projects within this Business Unit range from handling solutions to complex, fully automated production lines integrating multiple (joining) technologies. You will collaborate with approximately 60 enthusiastic and driven professionals motivated by team and personal development, successful projects, client relationships, and cutting-edge technology. Together, you will reach the finish line!

What will be your role?
As Team Leader Production, you will lead a multidisciplinary team consisting of project coordinators, mechanics, adjusters, and robotic welders (team size 10-20 colleagues). You will contribute to the team’s development and ensure that the required prerequisites and competencies are available at the right level and time. Additionally, you will guide your colleagues so they can excel in their work. Your colleague, the project coordinator, will oversee the project during the production phase. You will supervise and closely collaborate with this colleague.

Your challanges:

  • Drafting and reviewing the necessary planning and material supply, together with your colleague project coordinators;
  • Ensuring optimal team staffing and an development plan;
  • Coaching, providing instructions, and effectively guiding the team;
  • Ensuring the optimal workplace, together with your colleague team leaders and project coordinators;
  • Supporting the operational planner in resolving personnel planning issues;
  • Proactively contributing to departmental development and providing advice to management;
  • Identifying (potential) deviations and implementing corrective actions;
  • Maintaining a proactive approach towards initiating and implementing improvements.

What do we expect from you?
You will ensure good coordination with involved departments. You enjoy coaching people in their professional development and have no trouble addressing and motivating colleagues. Additionally, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor level work experience;
  • Relevant work experience in mechanical engineering (some knowledge of welding techniques is an advantage);
  • Good communication skills and guiding capacities;
  • A good command of the Dutch and English languages (German is an advantage);
  • You have a quality-conscious and hands-on attitude;
  • Good social skills, in addition you have a strong team spirit. Through your decisive, positive, respectful, flexible and proactive attitude, you know how to motivate the team optimally.
