AWL offers plenty of opportunities!

At AWL, we believe that training and education is extremely important. So every year we work with more than 60 motivated and enthusiastic students from MBO to WO (Dutch middle level vocational to academic level education). We find it important that you gain relevant practical experience and develop yourself further within your field.

We ask you beforehand to start thinking about a possible internship assignment and to state the requirements in your application. We will subsequently discuss with you how to formulate the internship assignment so that it suits your needs, the requirements set by your school, and one that is of added value to AWL as an organization. Thus, your assignment always contributes to the further development of AWL!

What can you expect of AWL?

Within the organization, you are considered a full-fledged colleague. We offer you a challenging workplace in a high-tech environment, which makes a claim on your creativity and development. To make you soon feel at home, you will be assigned a buddy for your entire internship period. This colleague shows you the ropes in the organization and challenges you to get the most out of yourself.

What you get from AWL:

  • Support from a professional
  • Room to carry out your assignment independently
  • Work essentials (laptop, work shoes etc.)
  • Appropriate remuneration

You are not alone

We believe it is important that you get to know your colleagues, we want to remain involved and we encourage knowledge sharing. For this reason, we organize a lunch meeting with all fellow interns twice during your internship period and you are welcome to join our outings, which are organized by our staff association!
