Legal Counsel at AWL
As Legal Counsel at AWL, you will be at the centre of an organisation that operates as a leading global (robotic) systems integrator in the automotive, metal processing and logistics industries. A dynamic, international and high-tech environment in which innovation plays an important role. As legal counsel at AWL, you contribute to the company’s success, for example by identifying risks and suggesting practical solutions. Do you want to further develop your legal talent in a dynamic and international environment? This is your chance.

Not a day is the same
As legal counsel at AWL, no day is ever the same. The modern office building invites you to drop in on each other, which is exactly what happens. As a result, you have a lot of contact with all kinds of people in the organisation and get to know all kinds of things. You look at a sales contract, assess an NDA, hold discussions and negotiations, think about ways to use legal instruments to respond to market developments, meanwhile taking a stroll through the AWL experience centre, the day flies by.

The most important responsibilities are:

  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and maintaining commercial contracts with our customers, suppliers and other partners;
  • Advising board and management;
  • Creating and maintaining legal awareness;
  • Maintaining and advising on ‘corporate housekeeping’;
  • Drafting and updating procedures according to laws and regulations;
  • Maintaining external contacts with lawyers and legal experts;
  • Monitoring legal deadlines and providing support in all possible areas;
  • Provide legal training for our colleagues.

In this position, you will report hierarchically to the Chief Financial Officer and functionally to an interim senior Legal Counsel. You will be supervised and supported by him for the first period of your employment. A unique opportunity to step in as a junior/medior lawyer and grow within a company where (personal) development is in the DNA.

What can you expect from us?
As Legal Counsel, you will gain work experience in an international environment and build an interesting network. What we offer you include:
