What do we expect?

You have mbo 4 diploma in electrical engineering or similar;
Reading E-plan drawings is no problem for you;
You are able to resolve faults and problems quickly;
Experience as a (lead/senior) mechanic within a similar environment where you have performed other work preparation and/or supervisory duties in addition to assembly;
You are willing to travel internationally and are proficient in both Dutch and English.

We are looking for a driven and experienced (Senior) Electrical Engineer with a passion for high-tech mechanical engineering.

With expertise and accuracy, you will be responsible for the electrical assembly of components, sensors and cabling in our Material Handling machines. These machines are aimed at the logistics market. You will deal with high-tech technology including robots and vision systems and always with attention to the highest quality standards, because that is what we stand for!
Within our Material Handling business unit we are developing a completely new business unit for AWL. We are focusing on maximizing automation and working on solutions that bring the future of logistics!

But that’s not all! You will work together with an enthusiastic project team consisting of multiple technical disciplines, think programmers and fellow mechanical engineers. Together you will ensure that our machines are transported without problems and successfully commissioned at locations around the world!

This will be your day

	7:30	You will start the day with a morning meeting at the project. Here you will discuss the work and challenges for the working day after which you will get to work building machines with the project team.
	10:00	Time to start preparing for an external job! After a brief consultation with the project team, you start collecting the required materials and prepare them for shipment.
	13:00	During your work, you discover a problem that is going to hamper progress. You discuss this with your Chief Engineer or Project Coordinator. You make a ticket and describe the issue in it, after which you follow it up.
	16:00	The day flies by and it's time to clean up. You ensure a cleaned-up workplace so you can start the next working day fresh.
	16:15	Time to wash hands and go home!
