What do we expect?

  • Leadership experience in the hospitality, catering or company restaurant industry.
  • You are hospitable and have organizational and communication skills.
  • You are in possession of the HACCP certificate.
  • Compliance with registrations and the Commodities Act (hygiene codes).
  • You are available between 20 and 24 hours per week, spread over a minimum of 4 days.

Do you have a passion for delicious and varied food and do you like to make sure that your colleagues and our customers lack nothing during lunch and overtime meals? Do you keep calm even at busy times? Are you strong in coordination and planning? Do you like to think about efficiency and innovation? Then we are looking for you!

As Company Restaurant Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to provide lunch and other meals for our colleagues, customers and visitors. After going over the planning for the day, you will prepare fresh sandwiches, soup and hot lunch dishes with your colleagues leading up to lunch. Together with the team, you put together the weekly menu, managing the company restaurant stock and taking care of ingredient purchasing. You will also be the point of contact for catering for special occasions, such as anniversary receptions and breakfast sessions. Your talent goes beyond just the kitchen, however, because together with your team you will also make sure that the company restaurant and meeting rooms look neat on a daily basis and that the coffee machines are stocked.

In addition, you will be engaged in:

  • Daily management of the team and point of contact for the organization;
  • Budget monitoring and making investment proposals;
  • Ensuring a changing assortment and making proposals for any price adjustments;
  • Making and monitoring agreements made with suppliers;
  • Organizing fun activities for colleagues and proactively thinking about revenue increasing initiatives and presentations.

This will be your day

8:00 Given the nature of your position, every day is different. This could be an example of a day. You start the day with a team meeting to go over the day's schedule. Everyone is assigned their tasks, then you get to work.
11:00 Time to have lunch with the team. You take a break to eat together and socialize.
13:00 The lunch for employees and visitors has been going on for a while; you make sure everything runs smoothly. When lunch is over everything is cleaned up and tidied.
15:00 You now have time to pick up some other tasks. You check inventory, answer emails and review staff schedules for the coming days.
16:15 Time flies by. Sometimes an evening meal needs to be prepared. If not, it's time to go home!
