The technology world is booming. Fantastic jobs are on offer and machine building is operating at full capacity. AWL also offers fantastic jobs, but we are not just any employer. With us, you never stop learning and that is because of the training opportunities we offer. For example, we have developed our own 100-day program in which you can choose the PLC, Robotics or Assembly pathway.
Despite all the focus on Industrial Automation, training to a good level of assembly and programming often takes more than two years. And there we saw a challenge! We succeeded: AWL now teaches you programming or assembly in 100 days!
In our own 100-day program, our experienced colleagues prepare you, as a starting technician, professional or someone with expertise in a different field, to program our complex high-tech machines. We guide you in various modules in order to become an independent professional. In our 100-day program, you will learn to further develop your project skills and soft skills in addition to the software and assembly norms and standards.
AWL has its own unique training programs in the field of assembly, and PLC and robot programming. During the training, you use real machine parts and you work in a safe and high-tech training environment (our Experience Center).
At AWL, we work with different brands of robots in our machines, depending on the customer’s preference. So when you choose our 100-day robot program, you don’t learn to program just one robot brand, but various robot brands such as Kuka, Fanuc and ABB. And that’s unique!
Each machine is equipped with smart control. AWL specializes in writing PLC programs for the Siemens and Allen Bradley brands. After following our 100-day program, you can program PLC programs completely independently.
During the assembly program, you will first learn the AWL basic operations and the various joining techniques for assembling machines from experienced colleagues. In addition to ‘standard’ machines, AWL believes in producing modular machines, and that’s why we also train you how to assemble both machines.
”From an early age, I was interested in the world of technology, with autonomously functioning installations and machines in particular. During my ‘Industrial Automation’ training, I became acquainted with both the factory automation and process automation sectors. After working for a number of years in process automation, I wanted to make the switch to the other side: factory automation. The choice for AWL was easily made. AWL is a leading high-tech company with ambition and growth potential that invests in its people. Those are all advantages! An example of investing in people is my induction period. At AWL, I followed the 100-day program where AWL teaches you all the necessary basic and product-specific know-how with personal guidance and exemption from project execution. In 100 days, I was already able to do PLC programming. A very good start in a new working environment.”

Then doubt no longer. Every quarter we have a number of places free to train people. There are two conditions: you have completed HBO or WO (Dutch higher professional or academic level) education in the electro-technical field and have a touch of courage.
