What do we expect?

  • A minimum of a technical MBO-3 qualification and several years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a production or machine-building environment;
  • Knowledge of reading technical drawings (2D/3D) and pneumatic schematics;
  • A solution-oriented mindset, working accurately with strong attention to detail;
  • Willingness to travel approximately 8 to 10 weeks per year (more can be arranged in consultation);
  • A true team player with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills; fluency in English is required.

Within our Intralogistics Business Unit, we focus on taking warehouse and distribution center automation to the next level. We achieve this by using automated robots and vision technology, making logistics processes faster, smarter, and more efficient.

From advanced transport systems and handling modules to fully automated machine setups, you will work on challenging and innovative projects that help our customers improve efficiency and productivity.

As a Mechanical Technician, you are responsible for the mechanical assembly, construction, and installation of our Intralogistics machines. You will work on high-quality, automated systems that are deployed worldwide.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Assembling modules, frames, and moving components
  • Installing pneumatic components and cooling systems
  • Adjusting, testing, and inspecting machine functions
  • Identifying technical issues and collaborating with the Project Coordinator or Senior Technician to resolve them
  • Contributing ideas to improve quality, efficiency, and assembly workflow
  • (Inter)national deployment for machine installation and commissioning at customer sites
  • You will join a dedicated and professional team where collaboration, precision, and pride in your work are central to everything we do.

This will be your day

7:30 You start the day with a morning meeting on the project. During this meeting, you discuss the tasks and challenges for the day, after which you and the project team get to work on assembling the machines.
11:00 While working, you identify a problem that could slow down progress. You discuss this with the Lead Technician or Project Coordinator, create a ticket describing the issue, and then follow up to ensure it is resolved.
13:00 After the break, it’s time to prepare for an external assignment. Following a short team briefing, you gather the necessary materials and get them ready for shipment.
16:00 The day flies by, and it’s time to tidy up. You ensure the workspace is clean and organized so you can start the next day fresh.
16:15 Finally, it’s time to wash your hands and head home!
