What do we expect?

A completed technical MBO Level 4 qualification and several years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a production or machine‑building environment;
The ability to read technical drawings (2D and 3D) and pneumatic schematics;
You are solution focused, you work accurately and you have a strong eye for detail;
You are willing to travel for approximately eight to ten weeks per year; more is possible in consultation;
You are a real team player with a proactive attitude and good communication skills, and it is an advantage if you speak English or German.

As a Mechanical Technician, you are involved in building, installing, and optimizing high-tech machines for customers around the world. Not only within the automotive industry, but also in new markets such as heavy equipment and rolling stock.

You are responsible for the mechanical assembly of machines, the installation of pneumatic systems and cooling systems, and the adjustment and testing of the machines at our customers’ sites.

In addition, you actively contribute to the progress of projects and discuss any technical challenges with the Project Coordinator or Senior Technician.

This will be your day

	7:30	You start the day with a morning meeting on the project. Together with the project team you discuss the tasks and challenges for the day, after which you begin working on building the machines.
	11:00	Time to prepare for an external assignment. After a short catch up with the project team you gather the required materials and prepare them for shipment.
	13:00	After your break you discover an issue that could hinder progress. You discuss it with the Project Coordinator, create a ticket describing the issue and follow it up.
	16:00	The day has flown by and it is time to tidy up. You ensure that your workstation is clean so you can start fresh the next day.
	16:15	Time to wash your hands and head home.

	70%	Building and assembling projects
	15%	Installing projects at customer sites
	10%	Commissioning and optimising machines
	5%	Other tasks
