We are all about innovation and customisation. Within our Business Unit Intralogistics, we develop advanced logistics systems in which technologies such as vision and robot systems play a central role. We would like to strengthen our team with an enthusiastic Hardware Engineer.

Within AWL, we deliver projects from sales to service. Although most of your work lies during the engineering phase, your support is also crucial during the construction of our machines. This gives you the opportunity to see your designs in practice and continuously improve them – a great way to learn and grow quickly.

As a Hardware Engineer, together with fellow engineers, you will design the latest high-quality automation solutions for parcel services and online shops, among others.
You will be part of a mechatronic team and devise and design control systems for our customer-specific robotised solutions.

Together, you translate the customer requirements into technical specifications and you develop these into a complete electro, safety and vision hardware design. You are the expert in the field of electrical engineering and ensure the best solutions. You also advise the project leader and work closely with colleagues from other disciplines.

Your tasks:

  • Specify and select materials, components and wiring plans for procurement purposes;
  • Design schematics and project documentation for production;
  • Responsible for the concepts and detailing of PLC/PC, robot, vision and pneumatic systems;
  • Monitor budget and progress of your work within your projects;
  • Function as point of contact in case of deviations and make improvement proposals.
