As Project Coordinator, you are the driving force on the shop floor, where you lead one or more projects. You work on a wide range of projects, from single welding cells to complex automated production lines. This variety provides a constant challenge!

In a multidisciplinary team of mechanics and programmers from different fields, you are the link between orders, drawings and concepts. You discuss these with the Project Manager and Engineers. Before the assembly process starts, you and your team draw up a detailed plan so that the project can proceed efficiently. In addition, you carefully research and plan how many and which employees are needed for implementation. You also carry the following responsibilities:

  • You manage the project team on the shop floor on a daily basis and ensure the smooth progress of the project.
  • You coordinate the delivery of parts and sub-assemblies from the warehouse.
  • You assess the quality of the work and, thanks to your technical commitment, suggest solutions to any problems.
  • You keep track of changes and organise the necessary inspections and tests.

Together with the Team Leader and Project Manager, you are responsible for delivering a technically high-quality end product to our customers on time and within budget. Your contribution is important for the success of our company!

This will be your day

7:30 You will start the day with a morning meeting at the project. Here you will discuss the activities and challenges for the working day, after which you and the project team will start building and commissioning machines.
10:30 As Project Coordinator, you will have a desk at the project. Here, you will deal with calling in materials, making a detailed plan and assessing and, if necessary, adjusting the planning and required capacity. When colleagues encounter problems, they come to you and together you solve it. Improvements are discussed with the engineers. You work with improvement tickets and an open issue list.
13:00 After your break, get back to work fresh!
15:00 Time to start preparing for an external job! After a brief consultation with the project team, you start collecting the required materials and prepare them for shipment.
16:15 The day flies by and it's time to tidy up. You ensure a tidy workplace so you can start the next working day fresh.
