As a Business Unit Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects run smoothly while aligning with the company’s strategic vision. You will play a key role in relationship building, ensuring our customers are on board and that strong partnerships are maintained and expanded. Additionally, you’ll be the bridge between the U.S. and Dutch teams, keeping everyone aligned on strategies and fostering clear communication.

You are also responsible for leading the Sales and Operations teams, working closely with team leads to deliver results and seize opportunities in a dynamic and evolving market. Your role will also include supporting innovation in the growing intralogistics market, which is full of new techniques, developments, and possibilities.

Your leadership will empower teams and individuals, inspiring them to achieve their goals and work collaboratively to solve challenges. As we are a growing organization, you’ll help structure and organize our processes to ensure we are ready to scale while continuing to innovate.

Furthermore:

  • Participating in matters relating to personell and cooperate with our headquarter in the Netherlands and other branch offices;
  • Translate the strategy into policies and development plans;
  • Ensure correct planning for the required capacity and translate the planning from a strategic to an operational level;
  • Optimizing the organization whereby you follow the business process and adjust where necessary.

What do you bring with you:

  • A bachelor degree is required preferably towards engineering >5 years of related experience in positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing and operations or similar, management fields;
  • 5> experience in the field of machine building/engineering as a team leader/manager preferred;
  • You have strong entrepreneurial skills in developing the organization to next levels in areas of: Continuous Improvement (Lean and Six Sigma), Empowerment, Coaching, Cultural Values, Communication, Collaboration and Implementation of Change;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, in English language;
  • Willing to travel national and internationally up to 30%.
