What do we expect?

  • Several years of relevant experience as a Project Manager within machinery, industrial automation, or a technical B2B (project) organization;
  • Bachelor level of thinking and working, with a degree in Technical Business Administration, Industrial Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field;
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15 percent of the time (primarily to the U.S. and Germany);
  • The ability to adapt quickly and respond with solutions to changing priorities and situations;
  • Strong communication skills for effectively managing your team and liaising with clients.

As a Project Manager, your biggest challenge lies in working within an international, multidisciplinary technical environment. Specifically, you will manage projects and programs for an American Retailer. Your project team may consist of 5-20 engineers, working together to create impactful technical solutions. You are the driving force connecting the team and leading the project to success. You will communicate directly with the client, define the context and scope, and translate abstract needs into tangible results—often at a fast pace.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing complex (technical) projects with high impact;
  • Actively engaging with the client to understand and translate their needs and wishes into solutions;
  • Delivering various projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards;
  • Motivating and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (Mechanical, Software, Hardware, Robotics, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production);
  • Managing technical and financial project risks and aligning with the client.
