You play a crucial role as the first point of contact on the shop floor for a project team involved in the assembly, testing and delivery of impressive automated machines.
From simple welding cells to complex automated production lines where various advanced joining techniques come together, every project is a real challenge for you!

As Project Coordinator, you will be the driving force on the shop floor, leading one or more projects. You work together with a team of talented mechanics and programmers from different fields. You are the link between orders, drawings and concepts, and you discuss them with the Project Manager and Engineers. Before the assembly process starts, you draw up a detailed plan to work with your team to complete the project process in the most efficient way. You carefully research and plan how many and which employees are needed for the execution. In addition, you carry the following responsibilities:

  • You manage the project team on the shop floor on a daily basis and ensure the smooth progress of the project.
  • You coordinate the delivery of parts and sub-assemblies from the warehouse.
  • You assess the quality of the work and, thanks to your technical commitment, suggest solutions to any problems.
  • You keep track of changes and organise the necessary inspections and tests.

Together with the Team Leader and Project Manager, you are responsible for delivering a technically high-quality end product to our customers on time and within budget. Your contribution is invaluable to the success of our company!

This will be your day

7:30 You will start the day with a morning meeting at the project. Here you will discuss the activities and challenges for the working day, after which you and the project team will start building and commissioning machines.
10:30 During your work, you discover a problem that is going to hamper progress. You discuss this with the engineer. You make a ticket and describe the issue in it, after which you follow it up.
13:00 After your break, get back to work fresh!
15:00 Time to start preparing for an external job! After a brief consultation with the project team, you start collecting the required materials and prepare them for shipment.
16:15 The day flies by and it's time to clean up. You ensure a tidy workplace so you can start the next working day fresh.
