AWL Automation is a growing start-up branch of AWL-Techniek in Harderwijk. The Netherlands, a leading global company in the manufacturing industry. We design and build production systems for the automotive and metalworking industries where automated (laser) welding machines play a vital role. AWL Automation established in Mexico in 2016. We have aggressive growing goals in the Mexican market for the upcoming years. We expect to grow with the automotive and metal processing industry to fulfill their needs for automated welding machines. We are building our team to shape the future and are looking for a sales engineer who can grow with the company to next levels.

What will be your role?
In this position, you are responsible for our commercial development as well as our financial development. As a professional sales engineer, you will have a direct relationship with our clients and prospects, with an adequate communication you will be able to translate our clients’ needs into an appealing offer. Coordinating, preparing and presenting offers internally as well as externally is daily work, in case of an inconvenience, you have the skills to proactively find solutions and support our colleagues in the execution process.

As a continuous growing company, we hope from you innovative sales strategies that adjust with the development of the Mexican market. You also ensure proper coordination with the mother company in the Netherlands and branch offices especially with the Sales Department to present continuous status of projects and reports. This position involves regular national and international travel.

What do we expect from you?
  • Knowledge of commercial and financial strategies and processes
  • A complete bachelor or master degree in technical/industrial engineering
  • Solid background and work experience in the field of engineering
  • Excellent communication skills in English language, both written and spoken
  • Solid background and work experience in customer relations
